Marian Barnick, R.Kin - Movement Therapist

Season #2 Episode #2

In this episode, I interview Marian Barnick, a Registered Kinesiologist and Movement Specialist. After receiving her degree from University of Waterloo, she continued her education with Certifications from Roy Matheson and Associates, Gray Cook and the Functional Movement Systems, and the Center for Research on Pain and Disability to name a few. She’s spent the last 25+ years working with thousands of patients from a variety of backgrounds. Her specialty lies in her ability to evaluate movement and develop the corrective strategies to improve abilities and enhance function – whether it's for clients returning to work, improving their daily function, or improving their elite sport performance. In this episode, Marian tells jus her story about fighting to get treated with respect early on, being the first kin to be recognized as a CWCE and how to reverse engineer your goals for success.
